God's Hurting With You

❤️ Beautiful ones,
Can we remove the mask for one sec?
Can we let God remove the bandage that's been stuck on the wound for too long?
I know you're thinking, "well, is He even there?"

He will say, “I have long been silent; yes, I have restrained myself. But now, like a woman in labor, I will cry and groan and pant." {Isaiah 42:14}

God has feelings too.
He's been hurt by our rejections of him.
His heart, too, has a bandage from the choices we have made over and over again.
His heart desires for us to love him as equal partners.
He longs to connect with you again.
Maybe you are not sure if you could love again.
Maybe you don't even know how to begin to love?

And as God gently removes the bandage and wipes your tears, He says:

Beautiful one,
I will lead you if you can't see;
I will guide you on paths you have not known.
I will turn your darkness to light in front of others
and rough places into level ground.

This is what He will do for you.
This is His promise to us.
His silence does not mean abandonment.
He's hurting with you.
